UQ NeuroTech's annual mind-controlled robot competition!
No controllers allowed. Use only your mind to steer your bot across the finish line!
This year the event is split over three days with plenty of hands-on experience and technical tutorials led by our friendly execs every step of the way.
Become familiar with the bits and bolts of top-of-the-line EEG technologies like the Emotiv Insight and the Neurosity Crown over three days of
mini-challenges, building up to Grand Race Finale capping off the event on the final day. There will be prizes for the winning team! (To be revealed).
During the competition, each team will be given:
- A Wireless EEG (brain-reading headset)
- A Micromelon Rover (Race Car with an API)
- Catered food!
On the 10th, 11th, 12th April from 5pm to 7pm.
- Day 1: Introduction, Tutorials and Team Formation
- Day 2: Workshops and Development
- Day 3: Race Day!
Please note that you do not have to show up for all three days to compete!
Come along any day, the UQ Neurotech team will be there to make sure that you get to experiment with mind-control.
